Yeah your right WVU basball was pretty much garbage. Im sure there are gonna be plenty of curb stompings in the BIG 12 but hopefully with a nice new stadium new coach and new conference to sell to recruits we will get better.

Best of luck with the new stadium. Baseball is a big deal in the Big 12 and without the proper facilities you will never compete very well. Too bad baseball is not a summer sport for college as it would take off in popularity if it were and it would help to level the playing field for "northern" schools.

It's kind of sad that WVU's baseball fortunes have fallen so low. It's even more sad considering that 2 of the top minor league prospects are WVU alums, and Jedd Gyorko may get promoted very soon...

Baseball also has a very intense game and travel schedule, which makes academics hard for baseball players. Moving to summer would help that.

I saw a interview with the New Mexico coach where he said that he has several kids majoring in university studies, not because they want to but because some other majors are nearly impossible with the baseball schedule demands.
