I still like the non-geographic solution mentioned at the meetings this week, where the two FL, TX and western schools are put in different divisions to promote better recruiting for all schools.

North:
Rutgers
UConn
Cinci
Boise
UL
Navy
Temple

South:
UCF
USF
Memphis
SMU
Houston
SDSU
Team #14

I think the north will be better at football at first, with Cinci and Boise, but the South has potential. Work the schedule so north teams play @ a florida team or @ a texas team every year.

Doubt very seriously you will see this league have both Florida & Texas schools in the same division...no way the coaches/AD would go for this especially for recruiting purposes.

True, thats just what i'd like to see so UCF doesn't have to play in freezing cold weather @ uconn or rutgers!

Nut up, Knights. Plus, no way Boise is in a division w/o SDSU, Houston, and/or SMU.

RE: 2013 season
the Florida and Texas schools need to be split so that each division has one of each, with crossover games so that they play each other every year, just as Boise State will have 1 team from the other division that they will play every year.

Florida Schools- I agree with you.

Texas Schools- I think both will be in the west.

I like the non-geographic model as well. Since we cover so many time zones, it would be better for the TV contract (IMO) if they split things up across all time zones.

That is not a bad set up @ all...crossover games:
Louisville-UConn
Cincinnati-Rutgers
Memphis-Temple-(Last two in)
USF-UCF-(I4 War)
SMU-Houston
Boise State-San Diego State-(Boise still has access to California plus new access to Texas & Florida).

Exactly, and then you keep the NE trio and the midwest basketball powers together, as I feel like those games seem like they are important to those teams.
