Memphis baseball will be a nice addition to the conference. We have talent but havent made any huge strudes recently. #5 in CUSA and a 14-3 win over #4 Southern Miss today though. Unfortunately we have the pod system tourney which means if you arent the top seed then you essentially have to go 3-0 to advance.

RE: 2012 Big East Baseball Tournament
St John's run rules ND, so they only played 7 innings. That actually put the schedule back on time, so Game 3 starts at 5pm.

Wednesday, May 23 - Opening Round
Game 1 – #3 Seton Hall 6 - #6 Rutgers 1
Game 2 – #2 St. John’s 12 - #7 Notre Dame 2 (7 innings)

Game 4 – #5 Connecticut (29-25-1) vs. #4 USF (34-20), 8 p.m.

RE: 2012 Big East Baseball Tournament
Day 2- Thursday
10am- #6 Rutgers vs. #7 Notre Dame (elim)
1pm- #2 St John's vs. #3 Seton Hall
5pm- #4 USF vs. #8 Pitt (elim)
8pm- #1 UofL vs. #5 UConn

Everyone but UofL and Notre Dame used their normal Friday starters today so most teams will be pitching their Saturday starter tomorrow. It looks like the Irish used their #2/#3 guy in the opening round and UofL used a mid-week starter against Pitt so both will be using their #1 guy Thursday.
