If anything, playing at the Fick or hosting them is always a sober-up type of game, where never at any point are we guaranteed a win. Those kind of games need to become our bread-and-butter REAL quick. Right now, our program and some of our rowdy fanbase are really high on themselves. It takes decades in the FBS to truly build tradition and power in football.

East Carolina and Southern Miss can attribute their longevity to their success in the decades past at football.
