I like! One thing to consider with regards to the background i would see how it looks without any boarder. The left side of the image will have a defined edge but the right will just end into whatever the CSS color is for that cell bg. I might suggest doing a mask fading out the right side of the bg to whatever hex color our bg is for ascetic reasons.

I just read what I posted... Let me try again hah. See how it looks with the slightly transparent bg on the right side fade out maybe for the last 30 or 50 pixels so it flows into the page a bit?

Mmmmmmmmmm let me sleep on this. Basically, you can use the name or the logo but not both. And yes, we've had CLC come after us for using both. How retarded is that? It's not exactly the logo ... but it is using it heavily ... it is not exactly the name ... but it is using it heavily. Meh.

Actually, if you do something similar to the BlazerTalk banner such that it doesn't name "UAB", while using the dragon logo, we should be fine.

Agreed. Remove the "Old Dominion Monarchs". I'd also remove the monarch crown (as we don't want to 'overdo' use of official marks).

Do that, and I'll have it installed ASAP :)

I was thinking about it today, and I was going to do pretty much what you guys said. No Crown logo, but the lion and "Lion's Den" and "ODUbbs". I'll whip it up real quick.

The second one, I left the logo untouched, in case deleting some portions of the logo that would be in plain sight isn't CLC compliant.

I would make one change (to either):

"HOME OF MONARCH FANS" or
"HOME OF MONARCHS NATION"

(or something similar)

I believe the school would have a problem with "Home of the Monarchs".

Probably wouldn't do home of monarchs nation as there already exists monarchnation.com
