So with Matthews, that makes 5 players signing on to be on UTSA's basketball team this fall along with Mayberry, Thomas, O'Brien, and McGregor, which I'm excited about of course.

However, we only had room for 4 new scholarship players once Iggy decided to transfer. So with a 5th scholarship player coming in, doesn't that mean that a current player on the squad got cut (or will get cut)?

If I'm not mistaken, and if my math is correct, room for one more scholarship player needs to be made, hence someone on the current squad needing to have their scholarship pulled.

I guess everyone wants to know: what is the situation on this? who is it that got cut?

UTSAMarineVet09, do you have any information on this mystery? If so, what details can you provide?
