In Bit's defense, I highly doubt thsi was his decision alone. I would place my bet that it has been a discussion piece on some secret hidden moderator forum.

I actually think he was chosen to do it because he is the WVU mod and in a way it has been you ACC guys facing the brunt of all this.

Come to the Big XII board and continue the discussions. I don't mind arguments, which are merely discussions between opposing points of view, as long as they stay civil. Hell, I'm one of the mods in here, and I've tried to stay out of it, unless people spend their time being antagonistic or throw insults. But I will police things a little more closely on the Big XII board. I'd prefer to start things with a civil demeanor...

I'm not on here 24/7. I have a life outside the board, for what that's worth. So keep it down to a dull roar...

He1nousOne, CP and I agreed on it, and he said he'd do it. But I had the time, and took care of it myself. It just happened that I was the one to do it, and I don't mind taking the blame. I've got thick skin and broad shoulders...

I agree. I guess the subject is now off limits as I don't care to go on the Big 12 board. Facts won't be welcome there as apparently they aren't here when I posted the Clemson AD piece. It's the Eer fans primarily losing their cool and now were supposed to go to their board? Ridiculous. I appreciated the free exchange of ideas here with the fans of schools all across the country. That's the best part about coming to this board. Just because there are some people who can't be civil does not mean the people who would be offended have a thin skin and can't take it. I think we're all adults here. (No way to verify this I guess) I appreciate the concern you are showing for us ACC posters (if that's what it is) in a way when you are doing this, but it's misguided at best. And, I know there are some crazy posters of all schools and that certainly includes my alma mater. I've seen crazy, brutally harsh statements on insidecarolina but free discourse is something we should protect in all types of forums including this one. This is America for God sakes!

Joey - I appreciate that, but you're missing my point I think. I want the Eer fans and the ACC fans talking. That's what the place should be. If they step out of line or I do then ban them/me for a week or whatever you guys do. But this topic is certainly not a subject for just one conference. If I wanted to hear from just ACC fans I would have posted it there. But conference realignment involves conferences all across the country in terms of the trickle-down effect it has. Yeah...I mean, it'd be one thing if we had a lot of Big XII posters, but ours are mostly Eer fans. And I thought the Realignment forum was created to keep the smack talk out of the rest of the boards? And higher levels of smack here were acceptable.

But, whatever, I don't run the place. The only difference now is I have to click "View New Posts" to get all my realignment gossip.
