Found a spreadsheet with all the info submitted by schools so I'm looking through it. Thought I might share it as I go. The first info I submit is info on Rev and Exp from football programs in the ACC:

School Rev Exp Profit
FSU $35.87 $18.69 $17.18
Miami $26.21 $24.41 $1.79
GT $22.56 $15.46 $7.09
UMD $13.89 $11.69 $2.20
BC $20.53 $18.60 $1.93
Cuse $18.78 $16.42 $2.36
Duke $18.24 $14.84 $3.41
UNC $26.39 $15.05 $11.34
NCSU $21.86 $11.33 $10.53
Wake $9.43 $13.23 $(3.79)
Pitt $21.31 $21.31 $0
Clem $31.73 $18.00 $13.74
VPISU $35.08 $20.00 $15.07
UVA $16.78 $16.74 $0.04

Curious to what the problem is when both FSU and Clemson each have profits of 13M or more? What am I missing?

I know what you mean about trying to make columns lineup. 03-razz

Maryland and Virginia need to step it up. I would have guessed that the lowest expenditures would be the private schools, and it should probably be that way. At least everyone's operating at a profit, except Pitt, though.

Well football should carry the other sports so the better the profit there, the better your all sports will be.

The thing about Pitt is that I believe we funnel our profits back into the program.

This is what they reported as football revenue and football expense. I can't guarantee everyone filled it out the same.

Clearly Texas has all their donations revenue under football.

Clearly Texas has all their donations revenue under football.

They have 24.6 million of revenue not allocated to a sport out of a total of 150.3 million in revenue. So not sure that is all their donations under football.

The thing about Pitt is that I believe we funnel our profits back into the program.

IT's been used to pay for the 15,000 head coaches and coaching staffs we've had over the past couple of years.
