In 2016...
What conference will Middle Tennessee be participating in? There's all sorts of debate over what MT will do. I want to get a glimpse of where the Raiders might end up. 2016, is it the SBC, CUSA, BE, or another conference (SEC!! jk...)? What are your thoughts?

the BE because I think it's written somewhere that every school has to be a part of the BE at one time or another

RE: In 2016...
I'd say either the Belt or C-USA. If things keep trickling down (Louisville -> B12, another C-USA team -> BigEast), then I'd say they end up in C-USA. However, if C-USA and the MWC end up forming an alliance, they may stand less of a chance moving up due to the sheer number of teams already. Its anybodys guess lol.

RE: In 2016...
I don't think much will happen between now and '16 East of the Mississippi, aside from a few schools moving up from FCS. Unless if ODU backs out of C-USA, MTSU will still be in the Sun Belt.

When Louisville and Cincinnati get the big promotion, I'd expect the Big East to take two more all-sports members, but I don't think it will happen within six years. Don't forget about Georgia State-a good start to FBS play and a few decent seasons on the hardwood, and the Big East would be itching to get into the Atlanta market. East Carolina, UMass, Middle Tennessee, Tulane, Charlotte, Buffalo, and most of the MAC schools located in Ohio could also be in play given the Big East's fixation on markets.

Too bad you got yourself blocked by Swaim. Otherwise he'd be more than happy to spread that rumor for you. He has spread many rumors that are even more absurd than that one. 03-nutkick

I hope they do something to increase their revenues. I am about to start paying for two kids to attend there and I don't want to pay a bunch of student fees to pay for the athletic department.

I think they're going to the Pac-12 with Clemson and Florida State.
