+1 Especially since our junior day looked to be very successful.

If we did I'm sure it would published in our 2013 Verbal Thread and mentioned our Recruiting thread...if we had either of these up and going.

There are not amny comittments yet for MAC schools...I think CMU has 4 and that would be tops...both WMU and Toledo have kids from ILL already comitted...

Most, if not all, of the kids that have committed to WMU and UT did not have offers from us. Doesn't mean they aren't good but we, according to one recruit, are only taking one Olineman this time around. So our offers to OLineman have been to the top recruits, like Jake Keeler, who just committed to Wisconsin.

I wonder if Chad Beebe is as fast as his dad. Don Beebe might have been the fastest white guy I have seen. Tony Campana from the cubs is pretty fast too

Question is has his success to this point based on the talented QB who ended up going to WMU? or was he truely the star on his own merits? Honestly I would wait to offer him a couple games into to the season to see his talent with an average QB under center.
To me I would like to see Doeren get in on Spearman and a couple of the Simeon kids. Hope he has made some connections there.

Beebe says he is interested in making a decision relatively soon. As one of his two offers we have to be a main player.

Spearman is an interesting player, he is absolutely great in drills and at camps with no pads on. Then people watch his tape and...he really doesn't like to get hit and doesn't do much. He's kind of a boom or bust type prospect in that regard.

I'm almost certain Don Beebe's younger brother went to NIU, so hopefully that gives us at least a minimal edge in the decision process. I recall having to cover a super fast guy in a pick-up game in the fall of '91 and someone mentioning it was Don's brother.
