I know CUSA is alive but is it really? The BE might not be a stable conference but I would rather the unknown than where CUSA is headed. At the end of the day what is true upside of a ODU, LATech, and other schools joining this conference or have had contact with CUSA? I'm not knocking any school from an academic stand point just strictly athletics.

As a UH fan I always hear "If we were in the Big X/Pac X we would compete and be more successful than other schools currently in said conference. I can understand that because UH was once in a conference with the likes of those schools. If my schools was still stuck in this conference I'd be pretty down in the dumps. I just don't see how this conference is getting better or has the chance to close to the BE or ACC.

I know die hard fans root for their school no matter what. If that's your opinion I'm not interested in it. If you have passion but also a level head what are your thoughts?

Everyone now refers to the conference as C-DOA. CUSA took a hit last time they expanded, this time they were gutted. Best of luck to all the Div -II team moving up to CUSA, hope your transition is smooth.

Charlotte hasn't even played a down of football and they get an invite? I'm sure this has been said many times before but that is just crazy. I would take an Appalachian State or Texas State before a school that hasn't played a down of football. If your a team like ECU and don't win the eastern division the next 10 years you should probably fold up your program as well. I do feel that ECU is getting a huge shaft in this deal as well with their fan support but man at what point do you stop caring? It would be like the Astros moving down to triple A baseball. Now granted most Triple A teams are better than the Astros but at that point I just stop watching completely.
