Big 12 commish selected and accepted-Stanfords AD Bowlsby
Don't know if this is good, bad, or indifferent for our purposes regarding going to the Big 12. The good is I assume he likes how we've created a well rounded all sports program that is successful. The bad, is I'm not sure there are any real ties for him with UL/TJ, the indifferent, well we can all debate that part. I'm going to check around and see what I can find out about this selection.

Doing ok Joey, been away from the boards lately do to the obvious meltdown of the main/expansion boards, but also just been alot more busy with other things in life. I'm having ACL surgery this summer, so having some downtime along with possible expansion talk heating back up, I could be a more familiar face again on here....just will pick my forums/spots to comment.

You doing alright?

This guy is coming from a conference that was just aggressive in expansion....I hope he has that mentality to keep the Big 12 on the cutting edge....UofL & Notre Dame as full members would be a huge statement.

cardshouse, if he's going for cutting edge they may go for 14. Perhaps BYU, UL, UC, Rutgers or UL, UC, Rutgers, UConn or BYU, UConn, UC, UL.

What could happen is they go to a 14/16 model...ND for Olympic Sports, BYU-Football only, UC, UofL and Rutgers....if no FSU/Clemson.

There been rumors on that one...not sure how solid.

Maize, could happen, but I just find it hard to believe Notre Dame would willingly cut itself off from regular appearances in Providence, Connecticut, New York City, Philly, Washington DC, Chicago, Milwaukee. In that scenario they're only maintaining regular appearances in NJ.

I'm glad the message board meltdowns didn't make it to the ACC. Its almost as good as the BEboard was. Tons of friendly sniping and great discussions.

Best of luck w/ your ACL. Hope you have a speedy recovery bro. I've been good. Signing up for a few class's next week.

Tearing the ACL's a rough injury. The treatment for it has gotten much better recently. Danny, best of luck with the surgery and the recovery.

Thanks BJ....I hope to be rehabbed enough over the summer, so I'm ready to tailgate, and watch our Cards pound the Pussycats into submission on September 2nd from my seats.
