Luke Voit is pretty good at hitting a baseball. I placed a wager on someone hitting at least 20 homers this year. Never dreamed it would be him

Cardinals go 28-25 after their return to play to finish 30-28 for the year. They are the 6 seed against the 3 seeded Padres in a best of 3 series.I had major doubts that they would be able to play a full season much less make the playoffs.Being forced to use some pitchers they normally wouldn't have may end up helping in the playoffs because of gaining experience during the year.I'm specifically talking about Daniel Ponce de Leon & Austin Gomber who both have pitched well lately. The starting rotation should be Jack Flaherty,Kwang Hyun Kim & Adam Wainwright. Each NL Wild Card Series has a NL Central playing.Anybody have Cardinals-Brewers & Cubs-Reds in the NLDS round?

8 playoff games today for the 1st time in MLB history (at least I am guessing it is since this is the most teams ever in the playoffs). Like March Madness in October. Well, September, but close enough

Thought it was a 4-5 matchup, not a 3-6 matchup
