Would just like to point out that every single East team is off the board with the exception of Ohio. Only CMU is off the board in the West.

How does this compares to teams that are in the WAC & SBC?

If you use their divisions from last year...

Sun Belt had 9 teams. 4 of which are already off the board.

WAC had 8 teams. 3 of which are already off the board.

Conference USA had 12 teams. 5 of which are already off the board.

And each of those 3 conferences has 2 teams in the list I posted on the previous page.

I would hope to see EMU above at least 3 or 4 of those 6 teams.

And yes, I have a master log at my desk that I am crossing a team off every day. (apparently I am a nerd)

If anyone is curious, the rankings have gone pretty much according to overall records last year. The edge has gone to the stronger conference when similar records have come into play. (I know...obviously!)

I do believe in this team but now I'm starting to get a little scared because the higher the FB ranking the more pressure that will be on English (and team) back.. I don't think we will be able to surprise too many teams this year.

They lost to kentucky for the first time in decades, they didn't qualify for a bowl game, and they lost a frosh stud receiver via a transfer to MSU. Basically nothing has gone their way. Nasty downward spiral in Knoxville.

To your point, the west is going to be very tough. I think it will be similar to the NFL North division (Bears, Packers, Lions, Vikings). I think it will come down to depth on the roster...
