Any link where we can validate that comment?

It was on Sirius XM 91 radio, July 3d on Inside College Football, or something that sounds like that.
I don't have Sirius radio, maybe they have an old episode thing. Read it from poster on App State's pay website at MountaineerIllustrated.com the App State Rival's site.

are there even any Idaho or NMSU fans on here? It's nothing but FCS fans who are still left in FCS wanting to move up talking. Do their fans congregate on their own boards?

What WAC fans Dukes09? That is a truly rare thing now-a-days. I get more dialogue and feedback from WAC fans that send me private messages after reading this board than what they post on here.

We all visit other sites. You are on the MAC site just about every day for example. Nothing wrong with that. There is another WAC board, don't have the address handy, my main computer is temporarily down, will try to send it to you. Come to this board mainly to check if anything seems to be going on with the WAC.

By the way. Noticed you or some other JMU posters said something about the new JMU president is going to handle something academically related and would be tied up with that for maybe the next six months before he turns his attention to JMU athletics - what is happening to get so much of his attention. And what is the JMU main unofficial board, I used to have that address.

I thought that the WAC really needed announcements by the end of June (or was it May?). Unless they can get a lot of FCS schools to jump early now (negotiated) for a 2013 start, the notification requirements put FCS move-ups in a position to wait until July 1, 2014. That leaves the WAC with just two football members for a full year.

Could they run the 'Hail Mary' and combine CAA football and WAC football, bringing the whole football side of CAA up to FBS all at once? Seems unlikely but one of the only ways to have football in 2013. (In this scenario, the WAC/CAA Olympic sports would operate as separate conferences).

Try:

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=451&f=2368

Has much more actual WAC traffic than here. I'm sure the are other boards as well.

Some of our fans just don't expect the first thing he does is to take the conference realignment seriously and risk pissing off professors who haven't received raises in years. They think there's "more important things to do".
Our main boards are the jmu page at caazone.com.

Some WAC thread in the past said that the conference had until June or July 2014 to have something done. Do not know if that is true or not. Also do not know what exactly has to be done by then except having members. Do not know if they have to convert by then or to have applied for FBS by then.
Cannot imagine any CAA combination doing any good what so ever. The individual schools have to approve a move to FBS and couldn't really do that with a conference changing from FCS to FBS, and some would not or could not do that anyway.
