Perhaps a more concise reading from Reason will help you: http://reason.com/blog/2012/04/24/how-ro...y-is-worki

With majority support from 5 state delegations, Paul can be nominated from the floor. :)

If Romney goes into the convention with 1144 delegates it doesn't matter what you'd like to do at the convention, he's won. And if every single caucus state went your way, ignoring the votes and rules of the process, it would still only get Paul 463 votes, with 1823 left up for grabs.

Your hope is built on delegates ignoring the votes in their states and voting for Paul. It will not happen.

IF Romney goes into the convention with 1144. And even if he does ... our presence will be known. But I prefer for Romney to drop of the ball and mishandle things so we can rally and have our own rival convention in the same city like in 2008.

You remind me of Ross Perot. So far gone that you refuse to face reality, even when it's smacking you right in the face. 03-drunk

This is think is Paul's angle. I believe he knows that he can't win, but I think he's working the influence game now. He's trying to get a large enough segment of the country to realize that we need to scale back the size and scope of the federal government........ In this, I hope he's successful - but there's no way in hell he's going to get the nomination.
