It is too bad they have to destroy what is left of that state.

A small-town newspaper reprints bogus promises made by oil lobbyists and Torch thinks it's real news. Further proof of his astounding idiocy.

Ask people in Eastern Ohio around these sites if they approve of fracking.

You should do a univariate analysis of that.

Anyway, you don't know anything economics so I don't really expect you to understand.

I know more about economics than you're ever going to know. Of course an eight-year-old could make that statement and it would still be true.

RE: Oil fracking poised to help Ohio
I wouldn't say everybody in eastern Ohio are happy with fracking. And I'm sure not everyone is happy with fracking here in Western Pa either. But I will say that the industry is doing a lot to rebuild our local economy.

In Monaca PA(about 15 miles north of Pittsburgh) they're going to build a Polychemical Refinery. Its by products will be used to manufacture plastics and other various things. I'm not totally for fracking, but I do see the economic benefits to it though.

Of course the economic benefits are obvious. Unless you're UMgrad. Apparently he was taught that being an "expert" in something means you're completely ignorant about it. Crazy ebonics. Words have complete opposites.

The warped mind of some conservatives. Ask a Canadian how they feel about their health coverage? Doesn't matter. Ask an Ohioan how they feel about chemical injections into well heads seeping into their tap water. Doesn't matter. So many things you guys are backwards on. It must be a mental disorder. It has to be.

As long as it's an economic benefit to me personally. Natural Gas prices are down. That's the bottom line. Nothing else matters.

Economic gains at all costs, good. It is their philosophy. Environment? Who cares. Manmade earthquakes, just a nuisance.

Are you having this conversation w/ yourself? Because you are certainly putting words into the discussion that no-one else is (and assigning blame).

There are likely some Ohioans who insist that fracking has polluted their water, even though they could have set it on fire 25 years ago. Ohioans complain more than most.

But, the original post was about economic improvement in the state due to the technology. This is verifiable (regardless of other consequences). Yet UMgrad can't help but prove he's a moron by disagreeing. Fools are like that.

Careful, you're letting your racist tendencies show again. I know you right-wing klanners like to keep that stuff hidden except for when you are in the ballot box. Would you like to engage in a discussion of life-cycle costs for fracking operations? You've only touched on the economic benefits, but you haven't even begun to talk about the economic costs. Give me an estimate of the economic cost of poisoning the water supply of a region. We can start from there.

There are benefits? QED. I was right again. Good of you to finally admit it, although it was plenty predictable that you'd deflect...

$0. No evidence that it happens.

I can talk economics w/ you all day. You really couldn't begin to discuss science with me.

wtf are you talking about... I'd take your posts more seriously if you didn't include such moronic statements like that.

And yes, I'm deeply concerned with our local water supply being contaminated by fracking water.

In order to be wrong 95% of the time I would have to constantly walk around telling people that you aren't a complete idiot.
