We at Oklahoma State are looking forward to seeing Holgerson (and DeForest) back in Stillwater. We feel like we know the Mountaineers better than anyone else in the conference. Dana did an outstanding job installing his offense and our defense practices against it a lot. We are also looking forward to attacking a DeForest coached secondary.

It should be a great game - can't wait!

Don't forget about the exciting Basketball also.

Prediction: WVU shocks the Big 12 by winning the conference football title in their first year of membership.

It wouldn't surprise me. But I'm prejudiced. The Oklahoma game Nov. 17th should decide it...

I think it's gonna be tougher than folks think. Some dangerous teams in that league. Schools like Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State - not household names like Oklahoma but still very tough games to win.

If the Eers play like they did against Clemson, they could beat any team in the country. Too bad they weren't hot like that against LSU, Louisville and Syracuse this past season. But 10 wins for a first year coach was pretty darn good. And Geno will play even better at QB this season. Watch out Big 12!

I agree with you. The weekly grind is not something our program is used to. I think our first string can play against anyone in the country, but our depth is a concern.....especially at defense.



That said, if any Mountaineer team is going to see immediate success in a new (and better) conference it's the 2012 edition with alot of people returning on offense and a second year under Dana. I fully welcome the challenge.

Texas Tech / Kansas / Iowa State / Baylor / Missouri 0

It's hard to beat Oklahoma and Texas. Even Nebraska struggled.
