This is in part why the McCune transfer from WV gives me pause; there is something to be said for recruiting character individuals. We are providing McCune with a third or fourth chance to get himself straightened out and one or two of the wrong kind of guys can have a corrosive impact on a basketball program.

That said, he is a Huskie now and I will root for his success on and off the court.

I have the same concern, it only takes one individual to make a black mark for the university and once you start stretching in the interests of winning, that's when you get in trouble. We'll just have to wait and see.

We don't have a lot of history with MM in regards to tolerance of character issues.

However, I would point to Dre Henleys incident after being on campus only about a week. That was dealt with swiftly.

Mr. McCune best take note.

However, it was also before MM lost 26 games in 1 season.

Yes sir. You lose 26 games and your core values change. Throw a kid under a bus and bring in some transfers. Are the JC players coming in a year?
I hope MM keeps Nader happy. You lose 20 games next year and the honeymoon is over. I hope I am wrong.

What if he goes 10-21 next year? That's double the wins of this year, still with 20 losses. Considering how empty the cupboard was, I think we'd have to live with that.
