Heard that this morning, crazy...

OJ is gonna go down as the player that had the most trades fall apart.

I'm not sure if I like that trade, though. It would have probably been a one year rental. Ray Allen would have been the perfect 3 point threat that we needed, but OJ isn't that much worse, at this stage.

While I'm impressed with OJs improved shooting the last 2 months and his effort in the 4th quarters, and I'm also ready to admit that we'd be clawing it out with Houston and Phoenix right now for a playoff spot if it were not for his contributions this season..... but he is no ray allen and it isn't even close.

Dude is shooting just over 45% from 3pt this season. He is one of the best shooters in NBA history, PERIOD. (OJ is just over 36%)

And down by 3 with one shot left in a playoff game? Give me Ray over OJ all day and all night.

I'd take OJ for the next 2-3 years over Ray as a half season rental, but I'd take Ray for a half season over OJ for a half season.

Honestly, as great as Allen is (was?), I'm good with Juice.
