Not a story, just a post. Here is the opinion of the Administrator of the FSU Rivals site regarding FSU and Clemson jumping to The Big 12. His post is in response to a newbie questioning where a thread went on their board....

Hey why did they delete the Big 12 expansion thread? there was obviously some interest there. What gives?

"You have 91 posts, 63 of those were in threads regarding the Big 12 BS, you and some postersv from WVu and UT found it interesting

There are still threads for the Big 12 on the smack board, Locker room, WVu has a whole forum dedicated to it.

This forum is for FSU football, the Big 12 thing is not news or even newsworthy and until someone with any credibility supports it, is a rumor. I did not delete it but will prevent a new one from popping up."

WVU fans pushing a silly rumor on another teams board. Say it ain't so..03-lmfao

Not sure about the FSU Rivals site but in Louisville, Howie at Rivals has a direct line to Tom Jurich.

Florida State has barely even been relevant in the ACC. They should be dominating that conference, but have allowed Virginia Tech to do so. FSU has other things to worry about.

My best friend living in west palm beach has a Daughter whom is a SR at FSU and is a football fanatic. And He is both UL and FSU fan being from Louisville. I sent him links on FSU to B12 and He said that was the only time they heard about it.
Just got a text alert Richard Pitino to FIU as head coach. Interesting.

Take my word for it...Louisville was part of the reason for WVU leaving the Big East. We come right in a win 40 BE titles, they couldn't handle being passed by. So while they could they joined the Big 12...Im sure WVU will do everything in their power to keep UofL out. Im willing to bet if they don't get anything from the ACC they will work their way around UofL and once again you will hear other teams names come out of those hillbilly mouths....Watch and see. Im about sick of those idiots with their fake wish list post because thats all they are.

cardshouse, I don't know what fantasy world you live in, but I seriously doubt that fear of Louisville forced WVU out of The BEast...

If you want to think that, feel free. But you'll be the only one...

Just my opinion Bit....If WVU were smart they would try to get teams geographicly closer to them like UofL & UC. Seems like they are running away from the teams that make the most sense....And Im sure WVU did not like little Louisville coming in the BE and really exploding. Its the WVU posters that have me thinking this way....I may be in fantasy world..But its my weird world....LOL. Still good luck to you guys playing in the BIG 12.....Once we get those Big 12 teams into Louisville International Airport on their way to Morgantown, they will see what they are missing.

Until WVU becomes an official member of the Big XII, which happens on July 1st, there's not much WVU can do with respect to the Big XII. Since we're not yet members, we have no voting power. Also, the conference has yet to choose a new commissioner...

But once those 2 items have been crossed off the checklist, you can bet WVU will push for Big XII expansion. Nobody at WVU wants to exist in another unstable conference. We've already had over 20 years of that, and that was 20 years too long IMO...

If I had to guess WVU will likely be pushing to go to 14 schools if possible for this very reason and the whole geographical outlier thing. They'll definitely push for Rutgers and Louisville and likely Cincy too. If they bring those 3 in Rutgers is an outlier but its not that dramatic.

That being said I think it'll be Louisville and BYU for 12 schools, not 14. If they ever go to 14 that's where I see Rutgers and Cincy coming in as well.

I have no idea what's going to happen. There are so many conflicting reports floating about. I'll wait for the press conference before I believe anything...
