Maybe the real problem was that they offered passage to the poors at all. Even in steerage, the cost was the equivalent of months of their salary. Leave it to the dumboldrats to blame the wealthy for the bad decisions made by the poor.

Circle the part where anyone here in this century approved how the steerage passengers were treated, Max.

While that is deplorable....It is no worse than institutionalizing millions of people into poverty in the US Socialist Welfare State that you and your Socialist do gooders approve of. Of course... objectivity is not the strong suit of Liberals.

I like to call the iceberg "government intervention"

I call the cold seawater "entitlements", the poor get more of it.

The lifeboat "gold and silver"

And the ship is "America"

See two can play your game of making nonsensical ramblings 05-stirthepot

Yes, even more reason to blame the poors! Transatlantic passage should be only the wealthy, idiots! Stop tempting the poor rich corporations with your scrapped together 6 months salary and stay the hell out of our country!

Just like the Statue of Liberty says: Give us your idle, your rich, your European nobles, sitting comfortably 3 to a lifeboat!

Maybe the Whitestar Line should give rides away?

Doesn't sound like a sound business practice, but then they're out of business now, so there you go.

You won't see Mini giving away his legal services (if you could loosely call it that) to the poors. If the poors are in the frigid water and come to him for a life preserver, he figures they are already dead anyway.

Well it would be the un-survivors but yes, I mad. :muttering:

And I do offer my services free to the poor, maybe 15-20 hours every year. Considering my services are worth at least $200/hour, that's upwards of $4k. Liberhero=me.
