This article touches on an important point.

While the O-Line will have to adjust to being 1st string, the learning curve to get "in tune" with each other should be less than usual because they practiced as a unit (for the most part) as 2nd string all of last year. Hopefully, the chemistry is all there before the season starts or at least by the time MAC play rolls around.

It wouldn't surprise me if one of the biggest question marks to start the season is one of the biggest strengths by season's end.

I like our o line and am very optomistic with this group (think what they will be like next year) but i am a little concerned about their size....i am hoping the current weights are either old or underreported....270's just wont often cut it at this level.

Krempel and Volk are both listed around 305, Pegram is listed at 310. I have Loos at 270 but I bet that's old.

Loos and whoever plays center are the ones that concern me

How well this group does will close the book on Coach Kill. He certainly did a decent job of stocking the cupboard with WR's, Dline, and secondary, but QB and Oline was what he inherited from Novak.

I think many of the same concerns were present 2 years ago when Pawlak, Wedige and Otis became first year starters. I look forward to the battle at center and tackle. Would love to see 6'5" or bigger guards too.
