How many College World Series have ya'll been to?
UofL just beat the #1 team in the country, on their field. Shut'em out 12-0.

I don't believe a team that has never won CUSA could step in an steam roll any conference.

You will soon find out you got to earn it.

No clue what the future holds, but UCF is certainly enjoying its best season ever as 4th year head coach Terry Rooney finally seems to have the starting pitching depth that he has been ever looking for since coming to UCF from LSU.

In the match-ups between #1 CUSA and #1 Big East, UCF swept their 2 game series with USF: 12-1, 6-2. (Mid-week games, harder to judge since most teams don't use their top 3 weekend starters but it does judge pitching depth).

Here's how CUSA standings stack up:
UCF 9-3 (30-8)
Rice 9-3 (27-11)
ECU 8-3-1 (25-10-1)
Tulane 5-4 (25-11)
Memphis 6-6 (16-20)
Southern Miss 4-5 (20-15)
UAB 4-8 (21-16)
Houston 1-7-1 (12-21-1)
Marshall 1-8 (13-22)

Conference wise, CUSA is currently ranked 6th while the Big East is ranked 15th (by Boyds College Baseball RPI)

RE: Updated Baseball Standings - April 15th
I have been a fan of Terry Rooney since then ND head baseball coach Paul Mainieri hired him to be the pitching coach for the Irish.

I had hoped that ND would have hired Rooney instead of BC's Mik Aoki about a year and a half ago, but Aoki seems to be doing ok.
