I can't put this one on the officials they missed calls both ways. What hurt was how we closed out the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Well, at least we made it interesting down the stretch cutting the 12 point deficit to 2 in the last couple of minutes. Hopefully TA will be back vs Utah Saturday night.

Amazing how the refs always fall for the flop routines though... OJ's "pushoff" on TP was 40% OJ and 60% TP's acting. The charge call on OJ vs Ginobli was atrocious. Per the refs breakdown of a charge, the defender must take the contact within the numbers (his chest) for it to be called in favor of the defender.... per the refs, if the offensive player gets any part of his body past the defender (in this case Juice's shoulder was past Ginobli) then it is a block. Nonetheless, Ginobli falls as though he took it square on and was rewarded.

Yeah, Gilbert fouled TP and got away with it however TP got quite a few favorable late whistles so di Duncan.

With all this said, I wish the grizz would sell calls more via acting. Do unto others as they do unto you. Grizz players just aren't wired for acting school so less whistles in favor of the home team....

Second-guessing

Hollins said he wished he could take back his decision to make substitutions when the Griz trailed 101-97 with 58.5 seconds left. At that point, Hollins inserted Gilbert Arenas for Conley, Pondexter for Mayo and Cunningham for Gasol. The Spurs had possession but the Griz didn’t need to foul. There was plenty of time on the clock to earn a stop, score and then start fouling with a two-point deficit. But Pondexter didn’t understand the circumstance and immediately fouled Ginobili, who buried two free throws to make it a six-point game. Hollins immediately went back to Mayo, Conley and Gasol as soon as Ginobili went to the foul line.

Pondexter was a big liability last night. I didn't even realize he was the one who fouled ginobili there. If you don't foul and make a stop, the grizz would have had at least 35 seconds, possession of the ball and only down 4.
