RE: Harnish one of the best in draft
Russell Wilson should not be in the top 14 especially over Harnish.

I love Chandler, but I'd have to take Wilson over him. Now, Kellen Moore, that's a different story. Chandler over Moore and it's not even close.

Kellen Moore has issues with mobility and arm strength. However, his vision and ability to throw to where the receiver is going to be (as opposed to where he is) is ridiculous.

I support MAC players and want them to do well at the next level (except CMU grads)...but I can't with a straight face agree that Harnish should be rated ahead of Kellen Moore.

Moore is comparable in size to Drew Brees...and he throws dimes.

Kellen Moore = Cade McNown.

Most QB's drafted have more in common with McNown than Brees.

3 NFL teams and out of the league after 4 years.

But you can't with a straight face argue that Harnish is a better prospect than Moore.

Are you guys just baiting me because I said you were "down to earth" yesterday?

Most draft experts are arguing that very thing.

Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel lists Harnish at #9. As FYI, they list Kellen Moore at #13.

RE: Harnish one of the best in draft
OK, but isn't drafting an NFL QB a complete crapshoot?

It's very well possible and likely that neither of them makes an NFL roster or at the very best is a 3rd stringer.

Again, they said Drew Brees was too small and had a limited arm as well.

If you think Harnish's skills translate better in the NFL...its only because you are handicapping Moore's size far too much IMO.

Everytime that I watched Moore play I kept thinking that we had a better QB.

IMO Harnish>Moore

Under 6 foot QBs are rare in the NFL. I know, Drew Brees and Michael Vick, still a draft risk.

Not being a homer, just not impressed with Moore at all.

A little off topic, but just saw this tweet from ESPN's Jeff Dickerson:

Jeff Dickerson‏@ESPNChiBears
Another former NIU Huskie that could be a late round pick is center Scott Weidge. Bears have done plenty of work on Weidge.

That's what I saw from multiple rating services after the combine.

Someone will draft him as a project. It'll be interesting to see where he goes. Career back-up or practice squad guy, he will still make a **** load more money than I will

RE: Harnish one of the best in draft
I sincerely hope he gets drafted and/or makes it to the NFL.

It's been too long since we've had a legit starting QB come from our league.

FYI-I would expect the fans of any given team to defend their star QB and argue their value over anyone else. Heck, I spent the better part of a week last September going back and forth with a Michigan fan because our beat writer statedthat Carder was the best overall QB in the state. Yes, better overall that denard or cousins. Michigan and MSU fans went bananas over that article. Our beat reporter took some serious grief.

RE: Harnish one of the best in draft
Russell Wilson should definitely be rated above Chandler, even with his lack of height. Kellen Moore? No way. I've seen him rated much, much lower on every other projection. Chandler will get drafted, Kellen Moore will not.
