They've already done that.

SMU recently built a beautiful new $16 million, 43000-square foot Basketball Training Facility (Crum Center) and just started a $40 Million renovation of the 56 year old Moody Coliseum.

Even with all those new toys either completed or just starting, plus a move to probably the best basketball conf in the nation (Big East), they still can't find anyone to take their $2 Million per year bait.

Sometimes its best not to show your cards/hand (i.e. SMU was proud to show the world their $2 Million salary offered up to Williams and then Majerus).

That's what this is about. Would have been nice to get it done two weeks ago when this first became a possibility, instead of chasing Jankovich/Collins/etc. Majerus was the only thing we did in the last two weeks that was worth spending time chasing.
