Just like some other players, you can tell that the only reason that Harrison came here was because of Davis.

When Davis left, a lot of reasons why Harrison should stay left.

Such is life.

Gorilla, we need more than that! What is going on with Herb? Why is he leaving? Where is he going?

No wonder this team couldn't win close games, it was filled with mentally weak individuals, from the head coach down.

I didn't say this young man was anything but if the shoe fits, wear it.

Okay, I had a disclaimer attached to my post, but lets say for discussion Herb saw the writing on the wall and left because he saw a style he felt did not fit his game, that makes Herb a wise young man.

Lets say he left because of his relationship with Davis, then that means he committed to Davis and felt no kinship to the program without Davis, that means he felt Davis was his father figure and that makes him very human.
Being human also brings human emotions, like anger at the changes you perceive as unfair, fear for your future, concerned on a personal level, judgement of the administration(UAB) and the new coach, a feeling that the administration (UAB) was unfair to you.

I hope the young man was given good advise by whom ever he was receiving it from, I hope he end up at a place ( lower level) where the lost year doesn't hurt him, I wish he had stayed, but since he decided or was asked to leave I wish him well.
