Williams underwent successful surgery Friday to repair a dislocated left shoulder capsule, the Blazers' official website reports.

Spin: Williams will miss the rest of the 2011-12 season.

Portland really has some bad luck with player injuries in recent years (as well as the past) considering brandon roy and greg oden. Sure hope elliot can get healthy and not be one of these players that is constantly hurt.

Just a feeling, but he just comes off as one of those guys that has a world of talent - but his body (injury) will never let him reach it.
