RE: Scrimmage Feedback...Anyone?
Well overall it was a good one. I think the offense got the better of the defense but they're still learning a new system. Danny White got a knee injury not sure how bad though. There were ALOT of recruits there, more than the 50 JRs mentioned elsewhere.

I've been in server room migration hell since Thursday afternoon and have barely seen the sun since then. Hate I missed it :(

Perry looked good.
Brown looked pretty good.
Greer is big and has a cannon.
Miller (walk-on) didn't do anything of note.
Bento, well, bless his heart.

Two-backs, QB under center, so that was pretty weird.

Every QB was hurt by some dropped balls.

First scrimmage, new coach, so expected to look pretty ragged, but they had some sparkly moments. My favorite was Brown dropping a bomb right in the bucket for 48 yards to Freddie Moore.

Franklin and Reeves didn't play.

Coles looked good, but he had one play were he'd broken into the open and just dropped the damn ball without a defender within 5 yards of him.

D White is hurt pretty bad. Probably will miss considerable time. As for Boyett being moved to DT, as mentioned earlier this week in the snews, that is only situational. He and Watkins are the starting DE's but he moves down to tackle in some instances when grissett comes in as an extra speed rusher. Both Watkins and Boyett looked very good from what I heard.

Yeah, White wasn't putting any weight on that leg as he was helped off the field. Poor guys seems to have gotten his act together, and now this.

DJ White's injury apparently isn't that bad (via player's comments on twitter).

Apparently those players are in hot water with McGee for tweeting anything at all about a players injury.

CBS has been doing a good job with the practice coverage.

Possible deactivation of UAB football player Twitter accounts?

HIPAA. Don't know about prohibiting Twitter altogether, but even teammates potentially fall under HIPAA depending on what was tweeted. Just saying what they saw and/or heard from White is alright, but it's a fine line if someone posts an actual diagnosis that could have been communicated by a team trainer or coach in violation. When the regulations first passed most teams added HIPAA awareness to NCAA compliance training...don't know if they still do that or not (especially since the training is "keep your mouth shut").
