NBR - LSU coach Trent Johnson to TCU
Does Mike Davis get a second shot at LSU. It's late in the game to be looking for new coaches.

This is an odd coaching carosel. Christian leaves TCU to go to Ohio. Johnson replaces Christian at TCU. Christian was making $600,000 at TCU. Johnson was making 1.2 mil at LSU.

This seems very odd to me...wonder how those numbers are working? I dont think LSU suggested Trent leave bc they had a decent season for the first time in years and they have lots of young talent.

I wonder if TCU ponied up or he took a huge paycut or if LSU kindly requested he pack his bags?

According to Dan Wolken sources, TCU is going to pay Johnson around two million a year.

Wow! Overpaying a mediocre coach.
