Why do the grizz shoot so many long 3s?

Every other team places emphasis on shooting the shorter 3 (the corner 3). OJ, Q and Rudy should shoot more corner threes.... especially Juice given he has a tendency to lean/fade back on his 3 attempt which often times falls short.

Cmon guys. Play smart.

The Grizzlies are next to last in 3 point attempts, less that 1 attempt per game more than New Orleans. It just seems like they shoot a lot because their percentage is third from the bottom, above only the Bobcats and Kings.
