Here's a thought on recruiting.
Since we have determined that transfers have played a huge role in some of our better teams, maybe that's an area that could be cultivated. Maybe have one of our coaches be put in charge of developing relationship with coaches from Power Six conferences.
This would be his primary job. Of course Joe Kleine would be a natural because he is a recognizable commodity in the basketball world.

Send Joe, or whichever coach fits this role, out to visit coaches on a social basis each year. Or Steve and Joe . Get to know these coaches on a personal level and create friendships, and make them aware that UALR might be a great place to send players who are in good academic standing, but for whater reason want to finish their education somewhere else.

Granted you use up a scholarship for a redshirt season, but if we could get one or two good transfers every year, it would be great for a program like ours.04-cheers
