Good luck to Ron Paul on Tuesday, and in all the other contests after that.

Speaking of Wisconsin, I'm looking forward to the results of the recall-election on June 5th (primary on May 8th). In terms of setting the agenda for state and local governments around the country, that election will have profound consequences for a long time.

Well, first of all I don't live in Wisconsin and am not privy to any information that's not already in the media. But the few polls I've seen show Walker hanging on by a few points.

I would love to see Walker keep his office...it would repudiate everything the Unions stand for.

RE: Meanwhile in Wisconsin
It will be hard to handicap the race until the Democrats choose their nominee on May 8th. One of the two leading candidates is the incumbent Mayor of Milwaukee (Tom Barrett), who lost to Walker in the 2010 general election, by about 5-6 % points. He is viewed as a mainstream Democrat. The other leading Democrat is, in a very obvious/overt way, an angry sock-puppet for the unions. I really don't think she could win a statewide election.

RE: Meanwhile in Wisconsin
Tom Barrett is up big in the Democratic primary polling over Kathleen Falk. Recent polling between Barrett and Walker shows results within the margin of error (Walker up slightly, but Barrett quickly closing ground), so it's pretty much a toss-up right now. On the senate side, the GOP has already lost their majority due to the sudden retirement of a GOP senator (current tie in the chamber), and they have four more seats going up for recall. Add to that the fact that the Wisc courts struck down key provisions in Walker's anti-union law, and it's been an all around bad couple of weeks for Walker.

I don't think you can recall the president. But close enough.

RE: Meanwhile in Wisconsin
I live in IL less than 10 miles from the WI border. My state is a financial wreck due to BOTH parties.
Scott Walker is stopping WI from turning into IL, and is demonized for it. It's remarkable.
I could provide quantitative evidence that he's got the state on the path to prosperity.
But why bother? Who would listen? GTS, I was formerly a Libertarian Party member. And I know we disagree on theism. But I feel everday I'm LIVING Atlas Shrugged. It's a long book, but please at least get the Cliff Notes. And I'm screaming, pleading, begging for people to see the self destruction. And they can't. And it's tough on me, because I genuinally care about my "brothers and sisters".

Wisconsin has been going backwards in job creation since Walker took over.

One would think that being that close to Wisconsin he would know this but from what I have heard, Walker is all over the radio in ads and on rightwing radio so given that that is probably al he listens to he probably missed the facts.

But I thought Obama was saving the rust belt! Which is it? B/c republicans took over OH and MI, and have been in IN. Plus Walker's plans were working initially, maybe the decline is the turmoil by the leftists who don't like fair election results.
