The collapse of renewable energy – otherwise known as "pretend energy", "faux energy" or "alternative-to-energy" as it ought more properly to be known – is an economic, environmental and socio-political disaster. And strangely enough, just what the liberals wanted and planned, once they got their cut.

Let's face it, aternative energies aren't ready for prime time yet, and just because we have a goodball president who's willing to spend millions of dollars that aren't his on these even bigger goofball companies won't make it so.

But if gas was $6 a gallon and everyone was broke because of the effects on the economy of $6 gas, people would finally use alternative energy!!!1

Problem is not solar or renewable energy. Problem is China put lots of money into the renewable market and due to them having lower labor costs, it severely hit American renewable companies.
