im so excited about this next season. i predict the belt gets 5 teams eligible this year. stAte, UL, WKU, troy, and the dark horse north texas.

i predict thats the order the conference finishes in. we will have 1 loss in conference this year. but UL will have 2.

As long as UL gets the wins they need they will be in New Orleans...can't say the same thing about 2013 though...they would need to pick a champion once out of the next 2 years to comply with the 2 out of 4 rule.

It's a good thing we decided to check out this board. Didn't know Louisville had joined the conference.

Wow, you think FIU will end up 6th or worse?

Watch out for Middle. We might have a winning record this year. With Stock, I expect a good turnaround and a much-improved ballgame on both sides of the gridiron. Defense should be a bit better and offense should start clicking. Of course, we won't know for sure until opening Thursday night against McNeese, which should be a blowout win.

Unless the team is improved from last year (I would hope so), I don't think we're going to blow out anyone, even a FCS school.

Assuming your bogus figures are correct, that still gives UL a huge advantage over Tech. About 99.999% of all the people in Shreveport don't even know Tech exists. That doesn't stop all you redneck clowns from claiming to own it, though. After 2 years of working in Shreveport, I finally saw a Tech license plate yesterday. On a car with an LSU window decal.

Yeah, as evidenced by the fact that ULL is never mentioned when conference expansion is discussed. You are kidding yourself if you think anyone outside of Acadiana knows, or cares, what ULL wants to call itself. It is a joke, and it has been one for over twenty years now. I don't deny that LSU owns most of the fans in Shreveport. They also own Monroe, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and New Orleans. That has nothing to do with the legal name of a university. The name of YOUR university is University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Most of us prefer to use ULL. It makes it easier to differentiate you guys from ULM and Lafayette University.
