SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Seneca police said they arrested six men Wednesday in connection with the beating of a North Carolina man at Applebee's earlier in March.

Police said their investigation determined that the victim was beat by the group of men and the incident may have been racially motivated. The department said they forwarded the case to the FBI to determine if it should be pursued further as a hate crime under federal law.

Officers said all six suspects were charged with assault and battery by a mob in connection with the March 17 beating.

The suspects are Teryn Robinson, 18, Tray Holland, 19, Justin Alexander, 20, Derick Williams, 22, Kino Jones, 25, and Montrez Jones, 22. Police said all of them are from the Seneca area and were taken into custody without incident.

I guess it's my duty to explain it to you since you don't know any better and no one will pull you aside and tell you you're comparing apples and oranges.

No. That has happened before. it would be national news if the white guys appear to get favorable treatment. In that case it should get national attention.

Lets be honest, hell we've known each other for years I've never had a problem with you.i don't think you've ever had a problem with me. we should be able to be open.

we can't deny history. If you had several people over to your house and one of them happens to have a criminal background, if something turns up missing that person is gonna cross your mind as a possible thief. I think black people history show them not always getting a fair break in the system so when a case like martins where, it's true not all the evidence is known, but what is out there looks very damning and nothing is done. I get the anger and frustration.

I don't have a problem with anybody. We might disagree about a news story though. But it did seem as though that you had a problem with me in your statement about your duty to inform me and that I don't know any better etc.
