Prediction for 2012 Performance
How well do you think Pitt will fare in 2012? New coaches, but the systems on Off and Def will be much more familiar to the team than Reverend Graham's systems. My predictions are below:

Pitt releases 2012 Season(blog)

(W) Sept. 1 Youngstown State 6 p.m.
(W) Sept. 6 (Thurs.) @ Cincinnati* (ESPN) 8 p.m.
(L) Sept. 15 Virginia Tech TBA
(W) Sept. 22 Gardner-Webb TBA
Sept. 29 Open
(W) Oct. 5 (Fri.) @ Syracuse* (ESPN) 7 p.m.
(W) Oct. 13 Louisville* TBA
(W) Oct. 20 @ Buffalo TBA
(W) Oct. 27 Temple* TBA
(W) Nov. 3 @ Notre Dame (NBC) 3:30 p.m.
(W) Nov. 9 (Fri.) @ Connecticut* (ESPN2) 8 p.m.
Nov. 17 Open
(W) Nov. 24 Rutgers* TBA
(W) Dec. 1 @ South Florida* (ABC, ESPN or ESPN2) TBA

Yep...Call me crazy. I actually believe Pitt can get to 11-1 this season. I don't know a lot about VT, but I think they will have good talent returning. However, if VT is losing a lot of starters, then there is a shot at going 12-0. I'll stick with 11-1 for 2012 and a legitimate BE championship.

I think Chryst will be a very good in-game tactician, who will be better than both Walt and Dave. I also believe that Pitt will be a lot further along since the majority of the team will is familiar with the pro set offense and the 4-3 defense.

9-3

Wins: YSU, Cincy, G. Webb., Cuse, Buffalo, Temple, UConn, Rutgers, USF
Loses: VT, Louisville, Notre Dame

A lot can change between now and these particular games. But this is my way too early Predictions.

'Cuse will stomp Pitt. 05-stirthepot

Hopefully we play like we did the first 7 games of last season, and not the final 5.
