Way to represent.

Two comments:

#1. I guess SFHusky is saying that ULCardinals knows a great deal about UCONN and Calhoun? He did, in fact, say that ULCardinals lacks an absence of knowledge.

#2. I always saw Rick as more of a narrow rectangle myself. While he is slim, he doesn't really have a ball shape. 03-lmfao

this is i must say one of the most entertaining threads i have seen on this board in quite some time.

it's perfectly fine to be a homer. but don't be the homer who neither has facts on their side or uses inconsistent logic to make their points.

RE: Louisville: Pride of the Big East - 2011-2012
Wow...just Wow.

The thing that UConn has over Louisville right now is 3 NCAA Titles. Louisville has 9 Final Fours including a "Title" in your 64 Team Field era-(I guess UConn is over UCLA since most of their runs was b4 the 64 team era).

What I think that bother SF is this, if Louisville pulls the miracle and wins it 3rd NCAA Title then it completely leapfrogs UConn.

Here is the difference-(UConn has only done their thing under 1 coach)...Louisville has been to 3 Final Fours under 3 different coaches-(Peck Hickman, Denny Crum & Rick Pitino).

BTW, Indiana is still ahead of UConn and it is not even debatable. 3 different coaches took IU to the Final Four and 2 different coaches took Indiana to the National Title. UConn run has been under Calhoun and Calhoun only.

But fact of the matter is this, you have 345 Division I NCAA Men Basketball Programs currently. UCLA, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Duke & North Carolina along with programs like UConn, Louisville, Cincinnati & Michigan State on a historical level are a cut above everyone else.

As a league we should take pride in that fact.

As far as the class of the league, for 2011-2012 it is Louisville...in 2010-2011 it was Louisville. We don't know what the future holds but I like where Louisville is heading moving forward especially in Football...juz say'n.

Biggest homer poster of all-time. Makes me appreciate RutgersAl more and more every day, since at least Al has fun with his proclamations and rarely feels the need to diss others.

Please, now that you have learned to google, seek professional help.

Cheers,

You're welcome...juz speak'n truth..just think about it...out of 345 Division I NCAA Basketball Programs only those handful above have as many as 6 Final Fours & 2 NCAA Titles.

Plus, Cincinnati did produce the "Original Double Double Man" in The Big O Oscar Robinson. Of the current & future BIG EAST schools you have Hakeem Olajuwon & Clyde Drexler-(Houston), The Logo Jerry West-(West Virginia), Patrick Ewing-(Georgetown) and Wes Unseld-(Louisville)...all of those players are reckonized as the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.

Going forward and as long as Louisville/Cincinnati-(Big XII) or UConn-(ACC) those are likely to be the strongest Football/All Sports Members of the BIG EAST.

04-cheers

I'm with you on that one. Lot's of basketball history remaining in this conference and some burgeoning programs on the football side. Now if Louisville wouldn't mind sharing some of that money with us so we can have shiny, new facilities like you guys have, that'd be great!

Actually the "Original Triple-Double Man", I wish I was old enough to have seen him play. I agree with your last line, those 3 look to be the class of the league.

agree 100%

Also, as has been the case in previous conferences, it is only time until UofL and Cincinnati become the leaders (in mens basketball and football). UConn has been very impressive as well.

I'd agree with Stookey's post too if I could read it 03-lmfao

If I don't hear it, I hope you guys along with Jurich withdraw from the BE and go apply to the B12 on your own.

You need to pay some attention here. This is a thread about LOUISVILLE, and it wasn't even started by a Louisville poster.
