Best derailment thread so far, BBF that was a beautiful stretch, fit for the 7th ending of a baseball game called because of rain before the 6th endings.

You should care. It's positive UAB recognition from a visible personality.

Why be negative about it?

Since I started following Bilas on twitter, I've become something of a fan. He's a funny guy with a dry wit. He has his opinions and some I don't agree with, but he's still entertaining on twitter.

I'm just not a fan. I don't value his opinion, and I'm sure it all stems from his negative comments after selection Sundays (the Big Dance).

We have a history of not caring what other Americans might think as we support those who do what we want them to do. Jay Bilas is no exception.

Annnnnd somehow he manages to discuss birmingham's past racism in a thread talking about our new coach, and this one was unprovoked.

I wasn't living in Alabama for most of these events. I hate racism. I believe we are all brothers and sisters.

I'm against the Immigration Law.

Having said all that, I still don't care what Jay Bilas has to say. I don't value his opinion.

So, that's how alliances are made... The "snarky-norse descendant-researcher above the mason-dixon line" and the "self proclaimed ultimate insider-I'm like the Perez Hilton of all things Blazer-master of spinn-batman at halloween-I played baseballer" join forces to battle the "racism remembering-bruising tailback wantin-bahr was my dream daddy-every thread or conversation leads back to bammer" member's commandeering of the fold's threads? That's like cats and dogs sleeping together...
