OU was the best team in the MAC!!! I said going into the MAC Tournament, that OU was the MAC team best suited to make a run in the NCAA Tournament!!!

We beat the Big Ten Co-Champion, the beat Big East's top defensive team and took a #1 seed from the ACC to overtime so yes I'll have to say that was a tourney well done!

Good job on taking it to UNC tonight!

Too bad that DJ Cooper couldn't keep the hot hand going. The rebounding difference was tough to overcome as well.

If the Ohio player makes that one free throw for the three-point conversion towards the end of regulation Ohio would have won it.

Woot go Ohio. Great representation of the MAC. Go Bobcats. Athens should be proud tonite!

I must say I hate basketball....NC was outplayed. Bb is soooooo controlled by the refs. Marv Albert has fake hair announcing a preconcieved version of a game.

The machine never thought Ohio would. Basketball is a joke. The refs control the game. I equate basketball officials with government officials.

Tough to say. UNC would had plenty of time to respond with a score.

When Ohio was up 57-53 with 4 minutes to go we had them by the throat. One more play and it was over but couldn't get it done.

Its amazing that Ohio only shot 32% in the first half against #1 seed North Carolina yet had the lead with 35 seconds to go. Totally astonishing feat for any mid major school to come back like that.

That however is how Ohio plays in the tourney.....Florida 2005 came back from 28 down to get within 4 in the final minutes. Won against South Florida 2012 overcoming a 6 point deficit in the first half.

Oooo the JMU basketball program has been a joke since the mid 90s haha. Shhh don't tell the other fans, many of them are sometimes in denial of that obvious fact. The program needs a complete overhaul to even win a conference tournament or get an NCAA bid. The admin takes football more seriously than the basketball for starters.

Sour grapes much?

That's not how I meant it. Good teams take lucky breaks and make something out of them. Bad teams find a way to lose. Ohio is a good team that took advantage of what they were given. But that can only carry a team so far. In OU's case that took them to overtime against UNC in the Sweet Sixteen. That's pretty great. They played mistake-free, which is hard to do.

What I was saying is that OU had an opportunity and they seized it. I wish the rest of the MAC could do the same.

Man, you guys had this one. Feel terrible for you, but all you had to do was hit a free throw.

Major props to the Bobcats. Incredible, incredible toughness in that game. Baltic was a warrior tonight, and your wings played out of their minds.

Now I can go back to disliking you guys, but you guys should be commended by everyone in the MAC for representing us they way OU did.

RING,
RING,
Hello, Coach Roy, this is Coach Goce, .... heck of a game don't you think? How about we try a home and home early in the season for the next 2 years? We have a 13,000 seat venue and it will be full.

That was the case in 2010 when Ohio blew the door off of Georgetown.

Ohio scored 21 points in the first half against USF and won, scored 22 against UNC and tied it......We are talking about a LEGIT Elite 8 level team here that won 29 games on the season.

UNC was lucky to escape with their lives tonight. I don't think Marshall playing would have made a difference, it would have been a dogfight.
