Check this out. Although everybody has WMU as an underdog to the top seed, a well known hockey guy released his bracket today. The Detroit Red Wings broadcaster/studio analyst has a team that nobody else has picked.

Maybe he witnessed how miserable Andy Murray's system is to play against and is a believer. Sure would be neat if he was right but he has almost all the 3 and 4 seeds advancing except for Boston College. That just plain won't happen. Plus, WMU has yet to win an NCAA game ever in 4 tries.

But, if it did happen, I'd be so happy...... More like ecstatic.

Miami has come back from being down 3 - 0 in the early third period to tie the game at 3.

Michigan loses in OT to Cornell 3 - 2.

Ferris St. beat Denver 2 - 1.

Union beat Michigan St. 3 - 1.



The CCHA is now down to 2 teams left.

Western plays tomorrow at 1:30.

Broncos are trailing powerhouse North Dakota 2 - 1 after 2 periods.

ND was making it difficult for our offense. Were down 2 - 0 but got a 2nd period goal and have been playing much better since then.

C'mon, Broncos. One more period of grinding. Let's get this game and get to the regional final.

N Dakota scored an empty net goal in the final 25 seconds to beat the Broncos 3 - 1.

Tough loss for us but we've had a great season.

Only CCHA team left is Ferris St, regular season champions.

Wow that is quite a story. Kinda like the Butler Bulldogs of Hockey.
