Jessica Rupright of Norwell, averaged 21ppg and 8rpg. Miami has had an Indiana Miss Basketball (Jaclyn Leininger) and a Wisconsin Miss Basketball (Rachel Henke) in recent years. Both were solid players but not stars. Rupright, however, was being recruited by Indiana, Michigan State, and Notre Dame(one of the best programs in the country) so maybe she will be a difference maker.

Whatever happened to OU's player who was Miss Something or other? As I recall it was more of a beauty pageant thing like Jr. Miss America, maybe? did she ever play for them?

Anyway, she sounds like a good get. Unless you get Miss Wyoming Basketball or something anybody who is tops in their state is probably going to have an impact.

A few years back Toledo played a team that had Jenny McCarthy's sisters (twins) playing for them. Great game but I have no idea who won.
