How about our 2013 class now? Austin Nichols commits, and ESPN has Memphis as the #2 class for 2013!

"DePaul received a verbal commitment from Greg Sequele, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward who plays at Citrus College in Los Angeles, Calif."

"He's an extremely athletic 6-9 forward with an inside and outside game, very, very versatile," Victor said. "He'll be ready to go when he arrives at DePaul. Because of his athleticism, he's a playmaker on defense. He can make plays most people can't. He can also score in so many ways."

Greg Sequele Commits to DePaul

Depaul is quietly putting together a solid recruiting class with 4* Guard Billy Garret jr. & now two solid JC big men (6-8 & 6-10).

Early Signing Period starts this Wed (Nov 14) and goes through Wed Nov 21.

Most committed players will sign with their teams later this week...but there always seems to be a few that ultimately decide to WAIT for the April 2013 signing period instead.

USF gets another good recruit to commit. It's our best basketball recruiting class ever.

Congrats I might make the drive up to Orlando next season to get a peek at this budding nBE rivalry.

USF will have a young but talented team next year to math with our PG Collins. Hopefully some of this years players step up and improve.

Thought you guys had a good shot at Kasey Hill...but that class is still going to be a bedrock class & Collins reminds me of a younger Peyton Siva. Hopefully he lives up to his potential, don't feel like Siva has.

RE: 2013 Big East Basketball Recruiting
As expected, both Haney and McBride sign with UCF today...as UCF continues to add "big bodies" for upcoming Big East Play.

Haney is another 6'6" 2 guard that can play all 3 backcourt positions...as Head Coach Donnie Jones continues to sign guards/ball handlers that are in the 6'5" - 6'6" range.

McBride will be a wide body (thats actually shrinking due to better strength/conditioning) that should help UCF down low in the coming years.

As of now, those are the only 2 scholarships available that UCF can use for this recruiting class as the max scholarship limit for next 2 years is 11, down from 13 due to NCAA sanctions.

Here's the press release on both of their signings:

No one has mentioned that SMU has the 30th ranked class in the Nation (Rivals), behind only Memphis, Marquette and Louisville from the NBE. Simply amazing for us to pull this off. LB is a wizard.

We have the worst class in the entire country. Our coaching staff should be ashamed.

Providence just signed 6'-6", top 40, 4-star guard Brandon Austin, out of Philadelphia. Another big get for Ed Cooley.

The commitment of Lawrence moves UC's 2013 class to #24 in the ESPN rankings per Dave Telep.

I don't like JUCO bigs...too many bad experiences with them. They rarely seem to pan out.
