I don't expect us to win. But I think we have a chance.

BC.

Be not afraid to expect a UC win.

We took Syracuse. We whipped FState. We can hang tight with anyone.

I expect us to win. I won't be (too) disappointed if we don't.

When it comes to sports, I hate OSU.

Overcoached?

I agree somewhat with what you are saying b (i think).. I don't know that I would call it overcoached, but I thought early against FSU they were thinking too much instead of just playing on offense. I thought one of the reasons for the better shooting in the second half was they were not so concerned with where they were at every second on offense. I don't know if that is what you are talking about when you say overcoached, and I don't know if that is the word I would use, but I do want them to play loose (within the confines of what the coaches are looking for, because the gameplans for the most part this year have worked out).

Thursday Night is a winnable game. O$U is one of the top teams in the country but UC is as well. If Gates and Cash can stay out of foul trouble and Cash can get UC into their offense I like UC's chances.

Gates and Cash need to stay out of foul trouble and play well. If they don't it will be a long day.

That's part of it. The team at times seem to be overthinking (which may be a better word). Often they are looking for an open shot instead of creating it which they are pretty good at doing. Plus, I have concerns that mick will focus too much about trying to counter osu rather then playing our game.

He didn't try and counter two giant teams in Syracuse or Florida State, so what makes you think he'll try to counter Ohio State? If Parker can grab double-digit rebounds against the Seminoles then I expect Mick will have plenty of confidence playing him down low against the Buckeyes.

I think UC is playing better down the stretch. 5-0 vs the last five ranked teams they've played as opposed to 2-3 for tO$U. By all rights we should win this game.

Maybe he won't, it's something he's done in the past. for instance he would not go small because of fear that the other team would go big and vice versa.

I thought the non-conf was an example of over coaching, when we were still trying to use that glacial offense. I think today, we just don't have a terribly smart(in bball terms) team.

A new way to knock Mick's coaching? He's coaching too much now!

Some have not fully returned to the fold. They are very close, I'll give them that much.
