since i'm assuming it won't be in HD, i'll be using ESPN3 on my xbox so i get HD

Ordered a Rocu Streaming player. It is supposed to make it so that I can get CW7 even though I have Uverse. It should get here Thursday or Friday.

1974 - do you have a laptop that you can hook up to your tv?

1974 - I have a Roku and I love it, but let me know how to watch this on it! Seriously, I thought I was going to be stuck not being able to watch this without going to a sports bar or something. Feel free to PM me if it works for you.

I didn't know you could watch live content for the CW7 on the roku. I had to use the combination of Roku and Playon to get ESPN3 to my non smart tv's.

I looked it up on line and it said that the Roku could get the signal. I hope the information is right. I don't feel like getting on the roof with an antenna. If I can get it to work, I shall let you know.

If you're in the Kzoo area, I would bet Wayside or Roadhouse carries the Hockey game.

I tried getting a converter where I could watch my laptop on the TV, but I ended up screwing up my laptop (I'm no Einstein). So I returned the $40 device and purchased an Extended Sports package that includes Fox Sports North for $9.

I have Dish Network.

A quick search shows that AT&T U-Verse has FSN North and FSN North Plus.

FSN North - 744 (SD)/1744 (HD)
FSN North + - 745 (SD)/1745 (HD)

Don't know what you need to get those channels, but good luck!

We don't get that with U-Verse here, unfortunately. It must be available regionally. This CW7 is a substation of channel 3 and I'm hoping this Roku can capture it. I'm going to call a few bars and see if they plan to show it just in case all else fails.

On the other hand, even though it's a 12-hour drive, I'm starting to think about road-tripping up to St. Paul on Friday...

All I have is this guys post saying that it can be done. I haven't found any specifics on what you do to make it work yet. I see that Target also sells the device.

It will also be streamed on ESPN3.com so if you want you can either hook up a laptop with an HDMI out to your TV (most within the past 2 years have this) or just watch it on your computer.

Is there a Playon plugin that will allow me to watch CW7? ESPN3 isn't an option, I don't have one of the cable companies that ESPN3 recognizes (which really sucks).
