Big East Divisions (Link)
I don't usually link Bleacher Report pieces but this writer has some good ideas concerning Big East divisions next season.

From the article:

So here’s what those divisions could, in theory, look like:

Frontier Colonial

Boise State Connecticut
Cincinnati Central Florida
Houston Navy
Louisville Rutgers
Memphis South Florida
San Diego St. Temple
SMU Villanova

As a Louisville fan this either excites you or leaves you feeling a little sick to your stomach. Not much else

That would suck, especially with Nova being added on. I'd prefer to see the remaining 5 Big East schools in one division plus UCF and Temple and then throw other noobs in the other division. Much better for all involved. Give Louisville, Memphis annually and give Rutgers, Navy annually and we're set. That would be called making the best of a crummy situation.

LOL, It could only go up from there ! Nova FB, I don't think so, actually, Hell No ! Agree the remaining 5 stick together, we've got nothing to prove to BE front office. add 1 to West side if it's going to happen. BYU best choice for FB and I would not have a problem adding USM as they have quality FB. next would be Fresno or AFA. I still think East/West should have been no farther West than Oklahoma as interest wanes for most East and Central US FB fans. Most Fans have watched the games of their interest by 9 pm EST . It's a shame that BE hadn't gotten more agressive when We had TCU and added Houston, Memphis, and UCF before the split. Keeping WVU,Syracuse and Pittsburgh with those 4 would have given a the BE a decent FB League, and for all sports.

I like Louisville, Cincinnati & Memphis in the same division...USF & UCF need to be with the western teams.

I'd feel sick too, Dan, if I had to deal with that... 07-coffee3

cardshouse, UC, UofL, and Memphis in the same division is a nice start. But do you actually think the folks in Providence will promote those rivalries? They barely promoted the Brawl, and it was only because those games were such a big TV draws. It was TV that pushed the Brawl. The BEast merely capitulated to the inevitable...

If Louisville is going to remain in the Big East, having the most competitive football division is a must. Playing Boise, Houston, and Cincinnati every year helps.

I just threw up a little reading that. Nothing good about playing Boise, Houston and Cincinnati every year.
