Two weeks depending on some variables like how often you use and how much you work out.
It's hard to feel bad for him for that, it's his own fault, but still. That's tough. I imagine if he knew he was facing charges he wouldn't have been smoking zeee dope.

Yeah MD, if you really think you have footage showing he didn't hit the second one, you need to upload that.

More like 30 days although it certainly can very. If you try to drown it your creatinine turns up diluted - drug screeners don't like diluted creatinine. Some types of tests can (meconium on infants, hair follicle tests) show use over a much longer period (meconium for about 6 months, hair about 90 days at the outside). most courts use urine tests because they are cheap-any + screen likely means use within the last thirty days at most.

It's like two weeks unless you smoke regularly. Which I'm assuming a lot of football players do.

Duh..... Lawyers in Illinois can't practice law in Ohio unless they pass the Ohio bar exam. LOL

If you're counting on that I hope you don't get tested at work.

It doesn't stay in your system that long unless you are obese and smoke 24/7. 2 weeks tops. If you are an athlete and hydrate....a few days.

Sounds like it.....you are wrong. As you should know there are many variables when it comes to drug screening. I am in the field too. Smooch.

Variables, variables, hmmmm- where did I hear that before...Oh, yeah, in my original post. "More like 30 days although it certainly can very". OK, I went to Toledo so I spelled it very . And I was correct- I have no way of knowing whether rabiddawg is obese or an athlete. But, yeah, most of the folks I work with are hitting it hard most days.

"Also according to court documents, Bass was ordered to submit to a drug test."
What does this have to do with an incident that took place months ago? Are they trying to arrest him for something else?
That judge was being a complete *****. "I didn't know university athletes could smoke" They are ALL grandstanding at Bass's expense.
I gotta say, I am sure if he was a rich white kid from Ohio playing for Ohio State there is no way in hell he gets screwed like this. Ridiculous. I would be embarrassed and ashamed to live in that county.

A lot of info from the chronicle this morning. Good read.
Quote:According to NIU’s drug testing policy, a first positive drug test result may result in any or all of the following – as decided by NIU athletic director Jeff Compher – after consulting with the head athletic trainer and medical review office: a referral appointment for evaluation with Counseling and Student Development Center on campus, recommendations from CSDC as indicated and Bass would be responsible for any costs incurred for those services.
Bass also may be tested for drugs whenever NIU athletics conducts testing for the next year with zero notice, and a mandatory conference call with Bass’ parents may be included.
Bass’ admission will count as a first positive drug test, according to NIU athletic officials. If he voluntarily seeks counseling, he will not face automatic testing. He does face possible sanctions from the NCAA.
A second positive test would result in an immediate suspension for a quarter of the season, or preseason practices if it occurs during the summer. A third positive test would result in Bass getting kicked off the team.

I was just talking about the video I had posted after the game, it is hard to see , but if you watch it over and over and kind of rock it back and forth to trace the individual players, it is easy to tell Bass was not the one to hit the first band memeber. I found it easier by making the video full screen.

Bass did not even make contact with the first band member, it was a different player. I think once that is established it ruins the whole intent argument.
The felony charge is just a piece of sensationalism thrown in there by the despicable media-whore DA. That will go away right away.
The misdemeanor charge will probably not have much behind it either and will end up going by the wayside as well.
This is just grandstanding of the worst kind by a MEDIA-WHORE DA and a precursor to the real motivator, a money-grab civil suit.
OHIO is just Kentucky north of the river with crappier weather and lower quality bourbon.
Only CA, NY, MI, and PA have more welfare recipients than OH (Dollar, Dollar bills, y'all).
The misdemeanor will have to be dropped though, because that contact never took place between Bass and the band member, which I was able to see on my cell video, and thus I know will not be able to be proved since it did not take place. That will leave just the felony. Can the prosecutor downgrade from a felony to a misdemeanor in midstream? Because in the end it will come down to just that felony count, the misdemeanor will be tossed away.
By charging the felony, the misdemeanor is included. They can convict on whatever the evidence proves.
