Let's hear it, zips. What do you think is gonna happen?

Nobody knows. With Terry Bowden taking over, every single position on the depth chart is up for grabs. We don't know what kind of talent we have, but it's better than our last coach made them look. A mediocre high school coach could have gotten three more wins out of last years team than Rob Ianello did.

I don't expect a big crowd. The fans have been hurt badly, and they won't come out to support the team until the new coach can prove that he can win or at least not get blown out constantly.

I think Akron will compete for the first half, but fall short. All new schemes on both sides of the ball will be difficult for the players to get used to.

The Zips have been so bad the last two years that it will take Coach Bowden some time. I think our team needs to work on being competitive again. I would love to believe that it would be an immediate turn around but the previous coach was so bad at retaining players. It might take awhile. We will be better but I don't think we will be able to beat UCF next year.
