According to a MR tweet, former Tiger commit back in 2005, Ricky Sanchez apparently is headed to Memphis to play for the Grizzlies.

Sanchez skipped college to play pro ball.

The Grizz did trade Sam Young to the 76ers for the rights to Sanchez, but he is playing over in Europe and will never see the court for the Grizzlies. They just wanted to get rid of Sam to get under the luxury tax threshold.

Oh, OK. MR did say the Grizz were finally helping him get to Memphis so I assumed they meant that he would play for the Grizz.

I don't know where they get that he was finally making his way to Memphis if he's staying overseas.
